Avon Athletic J.F.C. Club Rules and Regulations.

1. The Club shall be named as Avon Athletic J.F.C. and is registered as such.
2. The club shall be controlled by an elected committee of President, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and any other elected committee members, who shall be elected each year at the club Annual General meeting.
3. A “Top Table” committee consisting of the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer shall be responsible for deciding on any matters that need special attention and/or consideration.
4. The committee shall have the power to co-opt onto the committee a new member if it is thought desirable during the season, who shall serve until the next Annual General Meeting.
5. The committee shall have agreed, on election, to be held responsible for any debts should these circumstances arise.
6. The aim of the committee shall be to work to raise the required finances that are required to ensure that the club is able to field as many teams as they shall decide, and by doing so provide the facilities, kit and equipment so that the players shall be of smart appearance when playing for the club.
7. Money collected through sponsorship or donation and equipment or kit purchased with money collected in the name of Avon Athletic J.F.C. becomes the property of Avon Athletic J.F.C. No manager is to purchase any kit or equipment without first gaining permission from the Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer.
8. Each player shall pay a signing on fee and a weekly subscription that has been decided upon by the committee and passed at the Annual General Meeting to cover the costs of the season.
9. The committee shall have the power to expel from the club anyone, who by persistent abuse or misconduct, shall be seen to be disgracing the good name of Avon Athletic, and whose actions may be detrimental to the clubs future.
10. The club shall keep records of all income and expenditure and the “Books” audited and approved by the Annual General Meeting.
11. Committee meetings shall be held every six weeks or as decided by the committee. Other meetings can be called at short notice (7 days), to deal with urgent matters, which it is felt cannot be dealt with by the ‘Top Table’ committee alone.
12. All elected managers are responsible for collecting money for the club and keeping a record of all money collected. The manager is responsible for paying in money collected to each meeting with a detailed list of income and expenditure. All outstanding money for the season must be with the Treasurer within 14 days of the Annual General Meeting.
13. Any Manager failing in his/her duties will be dealt with by the Management Committee.
14. All committee members and managers of Avon Athletic J.F.C. are obliged to fill in and sign a “Fair Play For Children” Police check form (purely for child abuse purposes only and no other). These forms will be seen by the responsible officer of the Avon Youth League unless he has to question the suitability of any member of this club which would then be down to the committee to decide on what action to take.
15. A club “Code of Conduct” form will be sent out to every member of the club prior to and during the playing season for them to sign and agree to abide by the principles set out in that code.
16. The Club colours will be Yellow and Green with any design.
17. All Managers, Parents and Players are responsible for paying any fines incurred by them from either the County Association or Leagues.
18. All fully paid up members of Avon Athletic J.F.C. (signing on fee) shall be deemed to be members of the Mile Straight Sports and Social Club.
